We have had a great experience with Michael. He loves chimneys enough to have a line of pictures on his phone as if they were his kids. He helped and was patient with us through the decision and buying process of our wood burning insert for our fireplace. He also offers great inspections and detailed reports of his findings. A real great guy and expert on chimneys and fireplaces. We have been very happy to have been recommended to him.
This guy deserves your business. I had quotes from 3 other companies and none of them found the actual problem. Michael came out promptly and was able to quickly find the cause for the leak in our roof/chimney. He does charge a fee for him to come out and look but he puts that towards your total bill. It was worth every penny. He also offers a lifetime warranty for his work, which is something none of the other companies offered to me. If you are having chimney troubles, Michael's your guy!
I had reached out to other chimney sweeps in the area to get several estimates. They were FAR out of my price range to fix the masonry and install an insert in an old masonry fireplace that had never been updated (1978).
