  I had an excellent experience with Mark, Van, Mac, and the entire team. Their professionalism and high-quality masonry work really stood out. They repaired and sealed joints, caulked around windows and steps, tuckpointed, replaced and stained damaged bricks, and refreshed the chimney and foundation, beautifully restoring and protecting my historic home in German Village. They kept me updated throughout the process, explained each step, and ensured we were always on the same page.   We feel very confident recommending Utmost Renovations for masonry needs. Our project included the addition of a brick sitting wall and brick retaining wall. Mark was very helpful in the design process – providing recommendations that improved the result of the project. We did receive multiple quotes and felt Mark’s offer was fair and felt most assured that his work would be professional. Communication was very good. Mark was immediately responsive to any calls or messages along the way and kept me updated with his team’s timeline. Van led our project on-site. Van was excellent at communicating progress and was an extremely professional leader. He engaged with us quickly when any decisions needed to be made. There was a miscommunication with the project and Van went above and beyond to successfully complete what we wanted at a fair price. He offered recommendations to improve the look of the finished product and we are greatly pleased with his suggestions.   After having had to fire two contractors for incompetence, I was fortunate to be connected to Mark Huffer and his sons via Chris Ruh, my ace concrete contractor (and now a friend). Chris was correct: Utmost Masonry knew how to handle my job redoing a concrete block wall on a commercial building and in addition lining up a painter to repaint the block wall and the metal above it. In the process I learned that not all Sherwin Williams representatives are equal. Mark had a true expert advise us on what product to use both for the appearance I wanted and for longevity. The building looks great. Perhaps most importantly, Mark and Gabe were responsive, showed up to work when they said they would, and followed up on final details. Yes — I had to pay a bit more, but the ease of communication, on-time performance, and quality work more than make up for the difference. Thank you, Utmost.

  This is second time we have hired Utmost Renovations to repair damage to our stucco and trim. They taped the drip edge (which was causing the water damage), sealed the window frame, replaced the damaged wood, installed and painted new stucco. They painted the stucco and trim, and put a bead of caulk to seal the edge. They also replaced and painted some damaged trim and stucco in other areas. The team was very professional and the cost of the job was reasonable given the scope of the work. Highly recommend!

  Fantastic experience with Mark and his crew with our chimney renovation! Watching them work through each step was quite amazing, as the care was evident! Also really appreciate the honesty (letting me know it was in better shape than expected and we’d go with a smaller scope), hard work, and fantastic clean up on-site!
