I could not be more pleased with my wood stove pipe installation by Smokestack Sweep. Zack was very thorough and paid extreme attention to details, ensuring everything was level, plumb and complied with all recommended offsets. Furthermore, he came to my home three times between February and August, at no charge, to give me different estimates as I was determining where I was going to locate my wood stove in my new home. BEWARE! (The only reason that I am giving SMOKESTACK a 1 is that I am not allowed to give a zero.) Over a year ago they quoted my wife a price to clean out the little pipe/flue that goes from our fake fireplace to the outside: $135 The guy that came to fix it did precious little of value. He took the fireplace logs apart and could not get them back together AND our fireplace didn't work anymore. He said that Zach would come out to put them back together and he charged my wife $250(ish). When my wife asked why so much he said that the difference was for Zach to come back and put the logs together (THAT HE HAD TAKEN APART!) (They really played my wife!) When Zach came over, he seemed in a big hurry, like he had better things to do. He tried to put the logs back together. (Part of it fell off the next day.) He tried to fix the fact that it wouldn't even start after his worker broke it when Zach was done it worked for 3 and a half minutes, just long enough for Zach to get out of our driveway. I called him a day or two later and he acted like it wasn't his concern anymore. I haven't heard from them since. I've never given a negative review before, but I would feel rotten staying silent. while this company rips people off like they do.
Zack and crew did a great job with my project. They were presented with tight spaces and some difficult working conditions, but got the job done, and ahead of schedule. Solid, clean work. Would highly recommend. Thanks again.

Technician Zachery Huff was a great help- addressed my concern and did a thorough job with cleaning and explaining how to use fireplace/possible issues etc. I searched around and they had the best price for cleaning + inspection.
