We have an approximate 15 year old pellet stove that works great, however we needed a part in order to continue to use the stove. Salters assisted in identifying the proper part, ordering it, and having it shipped to store for pickup. The part was installed and we’re ready for another season. Thanks guys

We have a 10 year gas insert fireplace and the place which had done the installation and had been doing the annual maintenance stopped answering their phone or returning phone calls. Also the store was closed during business hours with no notice whenever I took time to drive there. I finally gave up. I called Salter’s, who immediately picked up the phone and I was able to get an appointment in short order. I got a reminder call the day before which was also welcome. Greg showed up on time and was extremely thorough in his inspection, cleaning, battery replacement, etc., and getting us ready for this winter. I could not be more pleased. He actually rearranged the rocks (ours has large rocks on the base) and this gives an even better flame distribution than before. I highly recommend them! And as you can see…dog is also impressed.

Sean and Joe did a great job today installing a Mod-Fyre Deluxe Large Gas Fireplace Insert. They worked together seamlessly quickly completing the work. They took time to explain its operation and controls.

Met Eric and Kody today to service my gas fireplace. They were so nice and very respectful of my home. Eric was teaching Kody step by step the job and he was really soaking up the knowledge. These two worked well together and fixed my fireplace within 30 minutes. I've always had a great experience with Salter's Fireplace and Chimney co. The technicians are always on time, friendly, smart and helpful. I highly recommend them for service and purchases. It's hard to get good customer service these days but these guys were exceptional. Thank you!

Friendly customer service response and we received an appointment confirmation call with date and window time frame for the tech visit.. Got lucky with a recent cancellation, tech out in 2 days. Our unit statred to fail after 3 months of perfect fall 2025 usage. The piolet stayed on for days, but when lit the unit piolet and flame both wouldn't stay on for more than 5 to 10 min. Tech diagnosis was thouough and swift. The Kozy Heat insert this visit needed new a thermopile. Thermocople was ok. We have propane gas and Thermocouple gets replaced maybe every 5 to 7 years. Lastly, we identified the Blower was acting up. Tech did his diagnostic work identified and replaced rehostat. All is back to normal !
