  Oscar did an outstanding job cleaning and inspecting our chimney! We’re incredibly grateful for his thorough work and the time he took to explain what needed repairs, helping us fully understand the extent of the damage. Not only is our chimney spotless, but Oscar also left our home immaculate and treated it with the utmost respect. Highly recommend his services!

  800 dollars. I wasnt advised during the process what my choices were with regards to cost. The sweep was nice and did show me how to clean the 15’ straight chimney pipe, and we did remove the damper I had installed so it would be easier next time, but aside from saying that wood stove chimneys are more expensive, no price breakdown. Not exactly sure what other chimneys they clean since gas is clean… For the cost, He did break the ceramic fireboard baffle and say it wasn’t important, and didnt offer to fix it. 2 pieces to 5 pieces. I looked it up after he left,having a solid baffle makes the stove more efficient and helps with the reburn process,so it is important. It needs to be replaced periodically as it can break down with time, but my stove is 1.5 years old—well used, but clean. I requested a repair, was offered the cost of the part or they would replace it. Great to not get inside my stove… Time set up 3 days later, on Sunday 3-5 pm. I finally called at 430 and was told “the part wasnt in stock”. This is a part that is frequently trimmed on site to fit—but there are model specific pieces… If the part hadn’t arrived, why weren’t we notified? (This is the second time we have been stood up. At least the other time the sweep called—that was my first attempt to get my chimney cleaned.) Happy to adjust the review when problem is actually solved. This is probably penance for making people wait in my job!

  So while I was doing some yard work I noticed water dripping inside my chimney whenever it rained. I called Safe Chimney Inc and they showed up over the weekend. The guy checked out the flashing area and found a leak. He sealed it right there and then. Now when it rains, no more annoying drips inside the house. The price felt fair for what they fixed and I’m really relieved it’s sorted before winter hits. Definitely one of the better crews in Tacoma, WA.

  This company is actively padding its reputation with fake five-star reviews. The sudden surge of glowing reviews posted within days, all using similar language, does not reflect the reality of their work or business practices. We hired them for a chimney leak and were charged top dollar for sub-par work. Based on what we saw and the lack of transparency around what was actually done, I do not believe this repair will last a year without our roof leaking again. The quality simply does not match the price. We dealt primarily with Michael, whose approach is all smooth talk and no substance. He talks endlessly but says nothing meaningful. Communication was poor, questions were avoided, and accountability was nonexistent. This was not an honest or straightforward interaction. Home repair requires trust. This company has no integrity, and we deeply regret hiring them.

  This morning I spotted some loose bricks on my chimney. Safe Chimney Inc came by and re-mortared the spots right away. Took just a couple hours and now it looks solid again. Really happy with how quick they handled it. If your chimney needs work in Tacoma, I’d definitely call them!
