  What made me choose Randy's Chimney Sweep was the great price they gave me for cleaning my dryer vent. When Douglas came out to my home in Quakertown, he made sure to keep everything tidy—even took his shoes off at the door since it was a rainy day. The dryer was fixed quickly without any waiting around. I also asked for a fireplace check, and Douglas took the time to show me how to prevent drafts from letting in cold or hot air. I’m very satisfied with the chimney and vent service and plan to call again for my next cleaning.

  I had a smoky smell coming from my fireplace, which used to be wood burning but was converted to a gas insert before I moved in. Douglas came out to my home in Quakertown and took great care of my chimney. He cleaned everything thoroughly and explained how air pressure inside the house can impact how the fireplace works. Douglas also recommended a product to help clean the stone and get rid of any soot and lingering smells. He even resurfaced the fire bricks at the bottom of the fireplace and re-caulked around the chimney on the roof. Douglas was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional throughout the whole process. Thanks to his work, my fireplace is clean, safe, and free from any smoky odors.

  We knew exactly what chimney work we needed, so we just asked for an estimate and to get the repairs scheduled. Douglas came out to our place and gave us a very fair quote for both chimney issues. After we approved the work, Douglas quickly got started by fixing our chimney cap. Since there were two repairs, we had to schedule another visit for the rest of the work. I missed the second appointment, but Douglas was flexible and even came out again, arriving early on a Saturday. He did a great job removing old mortar joints in our firebox and was careful not to leave any mess in our living room. Douglas patched up the mortar joints, and even went the extra mile by using the leftover mortar to fix a hole in one of our brick pillars. Overall, the chimney sweep service was excellent, and we’re very happy with the results. We’ll definitely be calling them again for any future chimney cleaning or repairs, and highly recommend their services to anyone looking for professional chimney care in the area.
