Daniel was the technician who came to our home. He was very professional and very thorough. He explained everything he did and cleaned our fireplace so well it looked brand new. He gave us reassurance that everything was in working order and we were safe to use our fireplace. A tree hit my house and my chimney was severly damaged. Taylor came out and did a thorough inspection. His report was detailed and he patiently answered all my questions. Insurance covered 100% of the replacement cost. During the inspection it was discovered that the inside of my chimney had several safety risks. Taylor explained all the options available to me to address the issues. He was very responsive to my calls with questions.I decided to rebuild my chimney inside and out. Jamie and Zeb did all the work on my chimney. They were excellent. They were very respectful of my house and belongings. They covered all the furniture and the floors. They gave me a call when they found water in my den from a leaky roof. They answered all my questions. They were thorough and meticulous in their work. They found a brick that matched my 1963 house. Didn't think that would be possible. They thoroughly explained how my gas logs worked and were very gracious when they had to restart the explanation when I realized my camera wasn't on. Jessica in the billing office was very helpful, providing me separate invoices for insurance purposes. She was also very understanding regarding g my confusion and mistake regarding an invoice. Taylor, Jamie, Zeb and Jessica were great to work with. An added bonus is that they're really nice people too. The cost was high (but competitive) and I know the quality of the work was excellent. My new chimney looks beautiful. I especially like the upgraded cap and copper color coating added. They make the chimney. I highly recommend Owen Chimney Systems. I will use them for annual inspection going forward.
