  We have a very unique fireplace that was essentially a closed-in brick firebox without a chimney in our newly purchased 1919 craftsman bungalow with very few options for a new gas fireplace to be installed. We stopped into the showroom and spoke to Don who walked us through the entire process. We had only one option that would work and Don help us navigate the project from start to finish. Lori in the office took care of all the logistics after the fact and Chris came out to do the measurements. From start to finish it was the most responsive and professional work we’ve had done to our home since we bought it (and we have done significant work inside and out). Lori kept us up to speed while we waited patiently for the install date and when the day came Steve and Brian arrived on time and did all of the work required with no issues. All of the custom fabrication went together flawlessly and I’m happy to say that final product exceeded our expectations. And they got the fireplace installed before Christmas! Six weeks later the new fireplace is the first thing everyone talks about when visiting our home and we couldn’t be happier. If you have any reservations about using Newtown Fireplace for work to be done at your home ignore it and give them a call!

  Working with Newtown Fireplace Company was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Chris took the time to walk us through all of our options and how to choose the right insert for our home. His expertise and patience made the entire process easy and stress-free. The installation team was exceptional—professional, punctual. They treated our home with care, completed the work efficiently, and made sure everything was perfect before they left. We were impressed with the quality of their craftsmanship and attention to detail. We won’t be needing another fireplace for a long time, but if we ever do, we will absolutely return to Newtown Fireplace Company.   This is a little overdue. Due to the condition of our existing fireplace chimney we chose a Stuv 6 wood insert (big glass front, no cords). The Newtown Fireplace team helped with the specs, installation and did a great job for us. The Stuv 6 produces a great fire and generates additional heat for our main room.   I had a truly excellent experience with Newtown Fireplace from beginning to end. Everyone I interacted with—from the front-end staff to the back-end team—was helpful, professional, and great to work with. My installers, Steve and Brian, were fantastic. They were thorough, knowledgeable, and clearly experts with the product. They made the installation smooth, stress-free, and surprisingly fun. I also want to acknowledge Chris, the owner. He was genuine, thoughtful, and approached the project with a practical, solutions-focused mindset. He made sure everything was completed properly and went the extra mile to ensure I was happy with the final result. Overall, the craftsmanship, communication, and service were outstanding.
