After receiving a quote from a company based out of Rochester, saying we needed to replace our entire chimney and wood burning stove, we called David for a second opinion. We had david come to the house for a chimney inspection and to give us an estimate on repairs. His knowledge was exceptional and his quote for the repairs was thousands of dollars cheaper than most people we called. David is the only one who will be working on my chimney this spring. I haven’t been charged a penny and I have talked with him, sent pics of my woodstove and chimney and had several text conversations. I was told by another chimney service I needed to spend thousands on a chimney liner, wall thimble and clean-out door. At the time, it was possible that I was selling my home next spring. I called David and explained my situation and he told me my current stove and chimney were just fine. I’m now leaning towards keeping the house and I have a plan with David for the improvements to my chimney and wood burning system to be done this spring.
