Don’t waste your time with anyone else…..These guys are sooo good at what they do and soooo loved by the community! Visit their shop! Too hard to choose from so many nice wood stoves and more!   I wholeheartedly recommend using Mountain Stove and Jakes Chimney Sweep for you annual cleaning and/or fireplace project. Joel at Jakes Chimney Sweep is an absolute pleasure to work with--extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He cleaned our many fireplaces (including a challenging Tulikivi soapstone fireplace) and was professional, prompt and kind throughout the process. While exploring a gas insert conversion project, Joel worked with us to get good quotes and modify said quotes to help us make the right decision. We will definitely continue to use this company for all our future needs.

  Mountain Stove is fantastic! Professional, knowledgeable, and they care about their customers! 5 stars aren’t enough! My wife and I had been looking at getting a Hearthstone wood stove for a few years, so when it was time to move forward with it, we reached out to one of the few Hearthstone dealers we could find. After being blown off by that company 3 times, we heard about Mountain Stove from a friend and went to check them out. We are so glad we did! The reps on the floor were very friendly and welcoming, and very knowledgeable. They were never pushy, but happy to give guidance when requested. We had MANY questions, and the reps were always very patient and we never felt rushed. We were kept informed through every step of the process, and when it came time for install, the crew was prompt, courteous, and very professional. We had a minor issue pop up after the install that we believed may have been caused by the installation, so I contacted the company and I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly we received a response from the owner with several suggestions. It turned out that the problem had nothing to do with the stove, so their installation was flawless and we couldn’t be happier! I’ve had some unfortunate experiences recently with several other companies that don’t value or prioritize taking care of their customers, so working with Mountain Stove has been wonderfully refreshing and an absolute pleasure. We will definitely be working with them again! Thank you Mountain Stove!!

  Today Jake’s crew came to install a wood burning, fireplace, insert. They were on time, very friendly, very knowledgeable, and professional The crew worked together, seamlessly. And cleaned up after themselves, leaving no mess behind. And also the product is beautiful. I also credit the office staff for their attention to professionalism. I would recommend this business in a heartbeat.

  Jakes has been servicing our stove for the past few years and will continue to do so for many years. Their attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning our chimney and stove are unmatched. Each year the tech does a careful inspection of the system and notes anything he noticed good or bad. We have never once been pressured or pushed into doing un-needed repairs or service as is common in this industry. When the annual cleaning is done, the stove and chimney look like they did the first day they were installed.
