We moved into a home that we initially thought was smoked in. Turns out the fireplace was the culprit. Through the expertise of Ken, we were able to figure out the issue and come up with a solution. Ken and Steve installed custom gasketed doors on our double sided fireplace. There were some hiccups along the way but everything turned out great and the doors are beautiful. Ken and Steve go to great lengths to doing job right and deeply care about the end result. Highly recommend.
Ken was very professional and prompt at returning our call back. Ken and Steve were very professional and friendly. They repaired our rain cover that was hanging off the chimney and replaced it with a stainless steel one that has lifetime warrenty. They came in the time provided and I would highly recommend them and use them again if we ever need them again. Excellant service and came out on a very cold day for us! Thank you so very much and we are very happy with their services. You will nit be disappointed with the work! 10/10
Our vented gas fireplace stopped working at the beginning of the winter, and another fireplace repair outfit had tried to fix it but managed only to get a very low flame going and wanted a lot of money to come back and change stuff "just in case". We noticed that cold air was coming in and accidentally called Ken instead. He did not hesitate to help us troubleshoot the leak over the phone and promised that he would get the fireplace going. We decided to give him a chance, and he and Steve came by twice but charged us for one trip only and kept working at it until it worked again! We also liked that Ken answers texts promptly and shows up when he said he would. We will definitely call him first if anything else goes wrong with our fireplaces.
Ken and Steve did an amazing job getting our direct vent fireplace inspected and running properly again. They took their time to diagnose the potential issues, determine and communicate the best course of action to repair. The fireplace looks great and is running perfectly. We will definetely use Midwest Chimney for any future fireplace needs and recommend them to anyone who needs work done.
Who knew!? Ken has cleaned our wood burning fireplace for years. Always great service at a fair price. , We had a second (propane) fireplace installed a few years & it recently failed. Ken informed us he also services propane fireplaces!! He was able to diagnose the problem quickly. The fireplace is back in service!! Again, great service fair price!!
