Many thanks to Andrew B. (fireplace tech) for getting our fireplace up and running. He was extremely polite and professional, cleaned up after himself, and did an excellent job all around. Also, thanks to Dai, who helped us figure out which unit we had (the serial and model number stickers inside the fireplace unit were blank!), and even called us when a cancellation opened up so we could move our appointment up. We had a great experience with Midgley's, and we would 100% recommend them.
Recently, my family had our fireplace upgrade with a Lopi system. The Midgley’s team did an awesome job getting the gas insert designed, custom-fit, and installed. We had a little snarl with a blower part, but the team was super responsive to the fix it and helped us get it resolved within days of the issue. Special shoutouts to Andrew for his talented service technician knowledge, Dai for helping coordinate the installation, Farron for the warranty replacement work, the Red for the initial install, and Roger for the original design. We’re looking forward to strongly recommending Midgley to our neighbors and friends.
I just bought my first home and I've never had a fireplace. I called Midgley's to come out, just to make sure its clean and safe to use. The guys (John and Austin) were wonderful. They explained everything they found. They also took the time to educate me on how to use and care for this particular type of fireplace, which I really, really appreciated because I didnt even know enough to realize I didnt know how to use it. I feel like I got way more than my money's worth. Knowing how to use and care for the fireplace properly will save me money in the long run. Its so rare to encounter people who are so helpful and genuinely kind. I can't say enough good things. So glad this place was recommended to me.
Andrew did an amazing job restoring the flame after finding carbon build up in the gas tubing. He restored the flame from a tea light to the best it’s ever been in 10 years. He is very nice and professional. Highly recommended, and will ask for him the next time I need service.
Everyone at Midgley’s has been great to work with! Ryan did our initial assessment , and was very thorough and knowledgeable. Deanne helped us set up financing, and was quick to get us on the schedule. Red and Matthew did a great job installing our new gas insert. They are skillful and courteous. Although we ran into some complications with our setup, Red and Matt were quick to act and got our fireplace working. I highly recommend their work.
