I had several chimney companies come out. Main line chimney Co. was by far the best and most reliable and honest. Family run business and did not try to upsell us on any product that we might need! Thank you!
They cancelled at the last minute, as in it was already the arrival window. The person who called was extremely combative and argumentative and kept complaining that I "was angry at him" -- I was not and was just trying to reschedule, but excuse me for not sounding exactly chirpy given the circumstances! He then proceeded to tell me to find someone else and hung up. I was speechless. What a prima donna! Two stars because they did the maintenance for my fireplace for multiple years and no issues.
Great small business to support! Outstanding customer service. My chimney was professionally cleaned and the guys were exceptionally polite and considerate. They both wore masks and put tarps down to protect the floors. They answered my questions and gave me sound advice for fireplace maintenance. Very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend and intend to continue to have my fireplace maintained by these folks.
Great experience with MLC. Nick (a family member of the owners I believe) was incredibly professional and thorough. He and another team member were very careful to lay down tarps, and they were very good about not leaving any mess in the area surrounding the fireplace. After they were done cleaning the chimney, Nick went over their process and told me they had inspected the chimney for any problems (they found none thankfully). All in all, a great experience and I will be using them again.
Main Line Chimney has been coming to our home for years. They are always clean and professional and courteous of our house. More than once, they have made minor repairs to our chimney at no charge, where other companies likely would have. They took extra time recently to troubleshoot a leak, and provide a great reference for us to resolve the bigger issue. We highly recommend!
