  Our experience, and 5-star rating, is based on the level of professionalism and integrity of our project manager Steve Cipriano. He was one of the nicest and most dedicated service professionals I've ever encountered. - He showed me pictures and videos of their progress daily. He was extremely patient in explaining the process several times as well as answering any questions we had. - His team was respectful, communicative, and hardworking. - When our project ran over the time estimate, they were determined to finish it no matter what. - They worked in extremely cold weather during a sudden cold snap to make sure the chimney was ready before snow fall. - I've attached photos and one video of the finished chimney. They ended up replacing over 100 bricks, as well as the cap & crown in one week. If you hire Island Chimney, try to make sure Steve is on your project. I have no experience with their other project managers, but I will go out of my way to hire them again in order to work with Steve.

  Great company! I wonder if the bad rating where they find it inappropriate to go to the bathroom discretely outside ever offered him to use a bathroom inside or even offer water for his services. People lack common sense and being courteous. Keep up the good work!

  Island Chimney Service 1650 sycamore Ave Bohemia Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Inappropriate Conduct by Employee Dear Island Chimney Service Management, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the highly inappropriate and unprofessional behavior of one of your employees, identified as Craig, during a recent service visit to my property. while Craig was on site representing your company, he was observed urinating on my property by my daughter and caught on camera, This behavior is completely unacceptable, not only as a clear violation of basic decency and hygiene but also as a sign of blatant disrespect toward me and my home. As a paying customer who expected a professional standard of service, I am extremely disappointed and disturbed by this incident. There is absolutely no excuse for this kind of conduct, especially when there are appropriate facilities readily available in any respectable work environment. I kindly request that this matter be investigated promptly and taken seriously. I expect appropriate disciplinary action to be taken against the employee involved, and I would appreciate a formal apology from your company regarding the incident. Additionally, I would like to be informed of any steps Island Chimney Service intends to take to prevent such unprofessional behavior from recurring in the future. Please respond to this complaint in writing within 7 business days. I hope this matter can be resolved respectfully and professionally.

  Island CS provided excellent service. During the call, they identified some issues I needed to be aware of but skillfully prevented them from worsening while completing the job. They also gave me valuable information to address the concerns later. I will definitely use Island CS again and highly recommend them to everyone. Thank you Marc.

  Just had Marc call soliciting me for a half price cleaning as he will be working in the area, and when I declined he rudely hung up in my face. He’d best not call back again or it will be considered harassment. I wouldn’t let him do it if he paid me. We’ve never had any dealings with his company before and never will, and I’ll be letting all our neighbours know about my brief experience. We’ve lived here for over 40 years and know basically everyone. Do better.
