  A few years back, Dale and his crew rebuilt the chimney that connects to my furnace, and they did excellent work. More recently, I had a concern, so Dale returned to my home in San Jose, climbed up to inspect the chimney cap, and made sure everything was in good shape. He even let me know there were no problems and didn’t charge for the inspection. The service was prompt and professional.   Leonard from the chimney sweep company did an outstanding job for us. We moved into an older home with both a wood stove and a brick fireplace, so we needed an inspection and a thorough cleaning. Leonard checked everything carefully and found some important issues that needed fixing. He quickly gave us a clear quote for the repairs, and once we approved it, he scheduled us for the work right away. Leonard removed the old mortar and replaced it with high-quality, heat-resistant mortar. He also installed a custom steel plate to protect the back wall of our fireplace, which helps prevent any more cracking in the old bricks. Leonard was very professional and left everything tidy after he finished. The custom steel plate was ready in no time, and the whole process went smoothly. We’re really happy with the service and will definitely call them again for our next annual wood stove cleaning.

  Houston Brothers Chimney Sweep gave us really helpful advice about adding a wood burning stove insert to our old fireplace, which never worked very well. Leonard guided us in choosing a stove that not only looked great in our living room but also qualified for the highest available rebate. The installation crew was friendly and professional. Even though there were a few minor hiccups with timing and parts, they managed to fit us in earlier than we thought and made sure everything was sorted out. They really went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the results.
