I had 3 different companies give me an estimate for some issues we were having with my dad's fireplace. We were having a backdraft of smoke into the living room. After carefully reviewing all 3 companies, we decided to use Hearthside Helpers and were not disappointed. Not only were they on time to their appointments, but they were all very courteous as well. Timothy took the time to explain our options and the process involved for each one. Pure professionalism throughout the entire process and continuously touched base with us. We definitely would recommend them. Additional notes: They were able to match bricks perfectly for the resizing and installed the chimney cap in the rain. We appreciate the hard workers. Ferdinand and his sidekick did an amazing job. They contacted us almost immediately for a quote. They explained the different options we had to fix our fireplace issue. We ended up choosing to remove the chimney, reroof the big hole it left and have them install an electric fireplace. They were professional, on time, friendly, and did an amazing job! I cannot praise this company and the quality of work they do enough. We moved into our house about a year ago and weren't sure when, if ever, our gas fireplace was last serviced. We had no idea how badly it was needed! Timothy came and took it all apart, cleaned it, made sure everything was working at peak efficiency and corrected some badly misplaced logs. He even repaired the broken electrical switch that turns it off and on. It looks and operates beautifully now and we're all set for the incoming cold weather months. Thank you so much! Thanks Timmy and Ian for a great job! Super happy with everything! Update: the repairs weathered torrential rains four hours later. The leak was fixed. Combined with a fireplace service by Timmy today, we now have a lovely warm fireplace on the inside and all the rain is on the outside. Great work. Great guys.
