I contacted AJ very late in the season when I was doing some other work on my home to remediate a water problem in my basement. AJ was able to fit me in before the snow and was great about communicating along the way. He removed the damaged existing brick and cracked stucco, and rebuilt with exposed brick. The work is impeccable. AJ’s bid was significantly below some others and in line with others. I couldn’t be more pleased with his work, professionalism and communication.
My chimney was in terrible shape and I needed a complete rebuild. I got multiple quotes and Hardy Masonry was prompt, competitively priced, and very responsive and friendly. I decided to go with them and am extremely happy with the results. They made the whole process easy and fast. For the last few years, we've been watching our chimney crumble into dust, and we finally decided this was the year to fix it. I found Hardy Masonry online here on Google and want to add my own 5 star review to the pile here. I cannot recommend them highly enough. AJ was my point person from the moment I called to the final invoice. He was polite, professional and did what he said he was going to do when he said he was going to do it. He came out the same day I called for an estimate and the estimate he gave me was lower than the number I had in my head (it's a miracle!). We scheduled the work and the team showed up promptly. In all it took four days to complete the job (day 1, tear down old chimney, day 2, construct new chimney, day 3, concrete on the top, day 4, put the cap and the animal barrier in. Each day AJ would text me when the crew was on their way. They communicated each day about what was happening and when they would be at my home. They tolerated my dogs barking at them. And I really want to mention that they did an exceptional job cleaning up after themselves, even hosing down my entire driveway before they left on the final day. Crew was courteous and respectful of us and our property. And the finished product looks great and is a dramatic improvement over what we had. We have had several home issues over the past couple of years (hail damage, flood in the basement), and so we've seen a good number of contractors come and go. Hardy Masonry was better than almost all of them. Could not recommend enough.
