We had Tyler take down and rebuild our chimney, install liners for both a wood stove and our furnace. We couldn’t have asked for better service. Tyler was very thoughtful and truly cared about his work. He made sure we were informed every step of the way and spent the time to explain the process especially when we were confused or unsure. Tyler and his brothers went above and beyond to make sure we got exactly what we needed - fixing our old wood stove at the very last minute even when it wasn’t his responsibility. They were careful to not damage our roof and worked under very challenging circumstances. I wish all contractors in Vermont were like them. I can’t say enough good things about this company. I highly recommend! If you are thinking about hiring them, do yourself a favor and pull the trigger.
Tyler is a true craftsman who respects his craft. Before even starting the work he walked me through step by step what his usually inspection process consists of. After each step he checked in to provide updates and suggestions on how to properly maintain the chimney. At the end he explained everything he found, good and bad, and provided options for repair. When it comes to home maintenance, especially something as important as fire and carbon monoxide safety, this is a service you should not skimp out on. While Tyler might not be the cheapest chimney sweep around, I'd rather pay a little extra for the peace of mind knowing it is done right the first time. As someone who has been around trades all my life I know the importance of finding someone who stands behind the work they produce. He has earned himself a life long customer with the knowledge and respect he has for his craft and his customers. A+ service.
Tyler was extremely accommodating in helping us to deal with a stressful situation. He could have easily told us to look elsewhere, but instead found the time. He followed up with emergency repairs and helped to alleviate the problem. We are happy to recommend him to anyone.

After a few years of working with GMCC I can say I have been happy with all the work they've done, big and small. We had a rebuild a few years back and have continued with ongoing maintenance. They are timely, polite, and most importantly thorough/ skilled. Highly recommend.
