We purchased the Hearthstone Craftsbury from Golden's and we are in love! This is the perfect wood stove for a small space. With the rear heat shield you can push it fairly close to the wall. It would work perfectly in both a rustic or modern space. The bypass lever gives us the option to either put off more heat or conserve our wood and earned us a tax credit! Bill, Tammy & Kyle were great to work with and really know their stuff! Yes, it did take a few visits to do the install but it was done professionally and they made sure we got exactly what we wanted. Tammy: I also think it was 5 star service you came to do an in person demo burn for us. We feel confident operating our new stove and it is not getting much rest!
We had our chimney torn down and rebuilt along with a Kuma Alpine wood stove installed. Bill, Tammy, Lois were very professional and went the extra mile as needed to make the project happen. Even so far as so purchase the stove we wanted and to make sure that it fit. If it hadn't fit they said they would buy it and put it in there store. If they would not have done this I would have had to settle for another stove that I real didn't want. The project met all my expectations as did the Kuma Stove. A brief review on our Kuma Alpine insert below Cons: Rheostat on the blower cord Pros: 9-10 hour burns at low with red oak Clean glass Does keep our home ~70 using a box fan at times. Back bedroom hits ~67 Like how the door handle latches and is adjustable Blower is quieter than I'm used too I burn mostly N/S using 14" splits on a full reload. Very easy to start up and operate Good owners manual I thought CS is outstanding
Golden’s did an amazing job replacing our fireplace and adding the stonework. Their whole crew, Bill, Tammy, Brad and Kyle just rocked the job and we ended up extremely pleased with the work they did! Currently waiting for the mantle since that was back ordered for a bit. We would highly recommend Golden’s.. very pleased with a local company the truly delivers quality!!

We have been working with Golden's for the past couple of years to maintain a wood burning stove and pellet stove in an A-Frame cottage. During each visit they identified and corrected a few very serious concerns with the fireboxes such as broken fire brick, unsealed glass, and other chimney issues. Golden's Chimney has answered all of our questions regarding upkeep of wood burning and pellet stoves to ensure that we are compliant with our insurance company mandates to maintain coverage. We know from experience that safety is their #1 concern. The next topic is cost. The quotes they provide for their service are very reasonable relative to the service provided, and the well qualified explanations supporting the work. The bottom line here is that Golden's provides an extremely important, quality service at a very affordable price. We endorse this Golden's Chimney with 5 stars for both reasons.
