We moved in June and needed the chimneys for our two fireplaces cleaned and the damper repaired. He and his workers were in and out in under 45 minutes. They were careful, efficient, and very clean. We'll be sure to use them again.
This was some fine chimney work. Careful grinding, repointing, and the cap placed and caulked for later service if desired. They mentioned they'll be back to powerwash the masonry dust off after it dries, which in my mind is above and beyond. Fair price once I saw the excellent work they put into it. It may not be your cheapest bid, but it will be much better work.
When I didn't have a lot of money, I got quotes from several different chimney sweeps. I settled for the cheapest one, mostly because I had to. I was sorry twice over. Just today, Glenn and his associate came and fixed the mess that was made from cheap work. I will never let anyone touch my stove but him. He is extremely knowledgeable and safety oriented, something that can't be stressed enough when burning wood. Don't go elsewhere. Stick with the best.
Never had him do any service to my chimney or pellet stove since I can work and clean both of them. I talked to him a few times when I need advice very professional and very knowledgeable in his field. Hope he passes his knowledge to his coworker.
I have used Glenn's services two times in the last 35 years. Both times I have found him to be extremely knowledge and skilled, not to mention a very nice person. I would not consider using anyone else.
