Had a sweeping and inspection done. Tech was courteous and thorough and unfortunately had to show me that my chimney was damaged. I explained to him its better he shows me a hole in terracotta than the fire department shows me a smoldering hole in my home. Ill be leaving another review when they've installed the new and safe woodburner and flue.

My husband had our chimney cleaned and inspected earlier this month. The chimney sweeper found major damage, so we had to get a liner and wood-burning insert installed. Elite Chimney came out today during a major snowstorm as scheduled and spent a full day fixing the chimney inside and out when they could've cancelled and had us reschedule. It's hard to find good customer service like that these days.
