Efrain and EG Masonry were fantastic! They fixed my chimney, matched the brick, cleaned up everything, and did it for a great price. He did everything promised, on time, and after the job and masonry work his team cleaned the chimney and driveway with a powerwasher. They made it all look NEW. We were referred to Efrain by our longtime carpenter, and we couldn't be more grateful. We wanted a custom stone fireplace built from scratch, including a large built-out that extended nearly 19 feet high—and Efrain delivered beyond our expectations. He was always prompt, communicated clearly, and consistently checked in to make sure we were happy with the progress. The stone we had our hearts set on was being discontinued, but Efrain went above and beyond—driving all over the Chicago area to track down enough material to bring our vision to life. The finished fireplace is stunning and has become the centerpiece of our home. We were so impressed that we brought him back to build a custom range hood for our kitchen. It turned out beautifully, and once again, his craftsmanship and attention to detail were top-notch. We can’t recommend Efrain enough!!

Very much satisfied with Efrain and his team. We noticed some mortar joints that were cracked and after quoting multiple companies, Efrain provided us the best quote and the best work. Efrain and his crew at EG Masonry did an excellent job on tearing off our old chimney and replacing it with a new one. He even had access to time-period bricks that make it really look like it came with the house. We have a 100 year old Victorian, and were worried about having just anyone working on our home. We are very pleased with the work and level of professionalism. The crew was amazing and cleaned up when they were done. They even wrapped up my hose and put it back nicely. These are the little things that really make you feel great with the work and workers alike. A wonderful experience, and if I ever need any more masonry work, Efrain is the only man I will call. I will recommend him very highly to anyone needing his services. They did such a good job on the chimney, that I asked if they did tuckpointing. He said they did and gave me a phenomenal price and did it right away. They went all the around my house and did such a wonderful job. I am impressed with the speed and quality of work.
