I wanted to like this place but not gonna happen, after scheduling a visit to repair a vent pipe and do a cleaning on my woodburner supposedly Daniel showed up 15 minutes before the scheduled four hour window. I had a sign on the door that I was next door to call me but never saw him onsite when I returned for the scheduled time slot so not sure he ever showed up. Then I called the office to see what's up, the people in the office are very nice but all they can do is text the service guy with your message. I subsequently called the office 4-5 times over the next few days and never got a reply. So basically I was Ghosted either because Daniel didn't want the job or they are too busy. A simple message would have sufficed but apparently that was too difficult. Not a good way to run a business. The Chimney Doctor in Grand Junction was much better.
I had a scheduled appointment for August 13th between 1 and 5 pm. I called the business at 4 pm and asked if someone would call or text when they were on the way. The representative answering the phone verified my appointment and said the technician would reach out to me. At 6:55 pm I received a text saying the service had been cancelled. Terrible service!!!! I wish I could give negative stars!
We had a problem with our flue not functioning well. High Mountain Hearth installed our entire chimney/fireplace system in 2017 and are very professional. Did a fantastic job! And were incredibly responsive to come and fix the flue issue within a few days. They found the problem quickly, cleared it out, and the cost was appropriate. Will continue to use them!
Rick and Daniel beautified my house with a much needed custom chimney cap. They also repaired my chimney crown and installed a new manual gas valve for the fireplace. Very happy and highly recommend them!
They left a message on my phone that was more of a question. I guess it was their way of canceling after waiting for them to show up?? Not good service. Won't be using them again.
