I recently had my fireplace professionally swept and was happy with the quality of the work. However, I was disappointed with the pricing process. I was initially given an estimate over the phone, but on the day of service, I received a new, significantly higher price range. And ultimately, the final price reflected the highest end of that new range. While I understand that the scope of the job may have changed, I was uncomfortable with how the pricing seemed to escalate over time. It left me feeling taken advantage of and dissatisfied with the overall experience.
Very thorough and explains any findings and potential impacts if not addressed. Does a professional and excellent job. Provides before and after pictures so you can see the work preformed. I will continue to use Dano’s Chimney Sweep for my future chimney cleaning needs.
We have hired Dano's Chimney Sweep for fireplace inspection, dryer vent cleaning and most recently an installation of a gas insert in an original wood fireplace. The team is friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and thorough from sales to completion of the job. I wasn't sure what to expect for the appearance of the fireplace insert. The sales team created a mockup but it's still hard to know what it will look/feel like in the space as we had an odd shaped fireplace in our 100+ year old house. It looks absolutely incredible - like it was there all along. They team went above and beyond and even reopened the insert (taking off multiple panels to get back into the fire box) just to move and add more glass stones around to achieve the perfect appearance. Would not think twice about hiring again. Highly recommend.
We saw Dano’s truck in our neighborhood, and decided to give them a call for our own needs. Five stars, and then some! By far the easiest company to work with, but what else would you expect from a successful small business?! :) From scheduling, to the actual day of service, to recapping the service and findings, it was all seamless. We had a sweep performed and Zachary found some areas in which we’d benefit from further work (we had some rusting, condensation, and sealing issues). He thoroughly explained the issues and potentials if there was no resolution, but wasn’t pushy or demanding. Estimates for the suggested work were immediately emailed to me so I could think on it without the pressure. The whole experience was professional, personable and I experienced excellent communication throughout. Dano’s will now forever be our go-to. Also, I learned they do dryer vent servicing, so we’ll be sharing with all our friends and family.
Dano's goes above and beyond. The custom work that needed to be done was well worth the small price tag. I needed repair to a 1981 backwall and Mackenzie did everything she could to find a replacement. We couldnt find one but Dano's custom cut a new backwall. Wish every company I work with was as good as you guys!
