  Mark and his team helped me out in a tight timeframe before I have my roof replaced. Responsive, efficient, competitive pricing, and all-around good guys. They diamond cut and replaced some cracked and crumbling bricks, repaired some problems in the mortar with tuck pointing, and finished it with a new crown with an overhang that nicely extends past the brick. The old crown (which I’d had replaced by a different mason six years ago) was poorly done with the splay method and was separating from the brick, as well as cracking all over the top. I have a 5’ wide chimney, and once Mark took the old crown off, he discovered that on top of the outdated finishing technique, the crown didn’t have the proper support. It was no wonder it was cracking after six years. But he made sure to fix that, too, and I’m so thankful. I would confidently recommend Cultured Creations to anyone who needs any masonry work done. (The first two photos are what he found when he removed the old crown. The third photo is the support he added before pouring the new crown. And once they remove the frame I’ll take a photo of the new crown and post that.) EDIT: the fourth photo is the finished chimney

  I highly recommend Mark and his team. They not only fixed my falling down brick wall but identified and corrected the root cause of the disintegration. Mark takes great care matching the brick and mortar and does a great job of cleanup. Overall, he goes the extra mile to make his customers happy.

  Mark is awesome!!! He replaced my hearth, finished a section on my stone fireplace and did a bit of brick repair work. He was punctual, is an expert in his craft and an overall good person.   Mark and his crew did a fantastic job and went above and beyond doing some extras but stayed on budget. A bonus to the craftsmanship is that Marks a super nice guy and his crew is the same. When they left the job site you’d never even know they were there. Only complaint is masonry work is all Mark does. If you need chimney repair or stone work done you won’t be disappointed

  First off, Mark gave us a super deal on our chimney repair because he was working at another house in our sub. Still waiting to hear from competitors for quotes. His crew was very efficient and hardworking. Mark was very responsive. We intended to move our patio furniture but the crew arrived so early and handled everything for us. The job looks great and our yard was completely cleaned up. Would highly recommend Chimney Repair by Cultured Creations.
