  I had been putting off getting our fireplace fixed for a while. Copperfield Chimney came highly recommended by others in my neighborhood. Communication beforehand was great, my technician, Joe, arrived at the beginning of the service time window, he quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue. Joe was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Cost was fair and less than I was expecting to pay. So glad to have a working fire again just in time for a very cold weekend. I would recommend Copperfield Chimney to anyone without hesitation.

  10 -stars if I could! I went thru 3 services & lots of wasted $ before I found Joe & Copperfield. Joe did a get job cleaning my chimney & pellet stove. I highly recommend Copperfield and Joe – you won’t regret it as he is professional, affordable and competent.

  I was not going to leave a review, as I had Joe come out last year. However, after the recent cleaning I did I feel I need to. I spent almost $400.00 last year on cleaning and inspection and needing a part replaced. Joe came over and was very nice. But nice does not ensure my pellet stove is safe to use. He came over and "cleaned our stove and chimney". After he left we noticed the stove would not feed the pellets and would shut off. Now, we already had an issue with the ignitor and lit manually. We called and let him know the issue with the feeder since he left. Also did not push the stove back in correctly. Well, he had instructed me to pull the stove out and make sure nothing came unplugged. First off, I grew up with a woodstove. I know nothing about a pellet stove. I did not feel comfortable doing this. My bf did instead but he even felt uneasy about this. We pulled out the stove and found it was filthy back there yet. Not sure what he cleaned as we also vacuumed out the stove before he came. Joe did wind up coming back, ordered a part and replaced it and it was not easy from what my boyfriend could tell. Stated he was down there for awhile tinkering with it. This year we went to start it up and it worked once, then the blower went out... so we thought. After the experience of Joe not wanting to come back, lack of cleaning, and him sharing with my mom that pellet stoves are not his thing, we went with H2Oasis on 14 mile rd. They just came over and cleaned it. We called them thinking our blower was out and figured we would get the ignitor fixed. The young man came in and CLEANED IT! THAT WAS IT!! $210.00 for the service call and clean! Our blower works and ignitor. Scary to know that it was not done properly before. My mom has had a chimney fire in the past. We pay these people to ensure we are safe.... I would not recommend this company if you have a pellet stove. My mom used him for three years and will also not go back. Her stove after he came was never pushed back in properly, he never showed her the tube and it being cleaned like he did in the past. Felt like he over booked himself last year or something. They were very nice, but at the end of the day, that does not effect if I am safe or not.

  Joe did an excellent job of getting our gas log fireplace cleaned and working! He’s patient, professional & very thorough. Earlier this year Joe & his team completed some exterior chimney cap work on our SL condos. Also very happy with the workmanship on that. Highly recommend Copperfield!
