Esmer and the Clean Chimney team did an outstanding job of replacing my chimney siding, trim, and installing a new chimney cap. After woodpeckers and squirrels found a home in my 40-year-old cedar siding around my chimney, Clean Chimney provided the best quote for the work that needed to be done. This company charged half as much as the quotes I got from two other companies! They also did a little extra repair for me with no charge which feels unbelievably rare these days and I greatly appreciated that. Esmer did a wonderful job cleaning and assessing my chimney after a chimney fire last winter. He found that the floor and back wall of the firebox needed replacing. He did an expert job and was extremely respectful of my home during the process. I highly recommend their work! See the ‘after’ photo below.
We had cracks that had developed in our chimney over the years which caused leaking inside the firebox that was continuously getting worse. Elmer and crew did an excellent job repointing the chimney, installing a new cap, rebuilding the seal over the top of the chimney and adding a water proof coating to help prevent future damage. It's been several weeks and there have been no more leaks. We are very pleased and would definitely recommend.
