  Almost made a huge mistake and didn’t call them due to the two bad reviews. Zeb and Sawyer were amazing. Very thorough, polite and treated our house as if it were their own. My wife and I will not hesitate to call them or recommend them to anyone. They absolutely went above and beyond all expectations. How often do you have service folks in your home and end up smiling when you think about the experience? Definitely a first for me.

  So I reached out to Chimney Sweep Plus via the phone and spoke with the owner, Roger. I explained that I was interested in purchasing an insert wood stove from a local dealer and wanted to see if he could do the install and add a chimney cap for my chimney. He said he could but they would first need to do an on site inspection. We made arrangements and Roger and his son came and did a very thorough job, measured and checked everything. I paid my $270 bill and got a written report of the inspection but no estimate for the stove install or custom chimney cap. I have since called numerous times, left numerous messages and have never heard back from them. I have even stopped into the office on highway 321 but no one is ever there. I feel as if I am being “ghosted”. During our on site inspection, I thought Roger and his son were very pleasant and that we all had a very friendly rapport. I thought it was very strange that they would come out, do their inspection, charge me dearly then go underground never to be heard from again. Not sure what is going on, but buyer beware if they tell you that they need to come out to do an on-site inspection, thus the 1 star review.

  The owners son showed up 2hrs late on 11/26. Its fine, stuff happens. He spent the next 3hrs in my house. Whats not fine, is that it took under 1hr to inspect my fireplace and tell me it cant be saved, which I dont believe, and almost 2 full hours chatting about his hobbies outside of work. Ending with him telling me I'll got a full report, photos and an estimate for the work. Never got photos, a report or an estimate. Only an invoice emailed to me every morning for $450 with a quantity of three (3) listed. I emailed them back to ask what exactly I am being charged for since I only have one fireplace and my house is 2 stories. I also let them know that the inspection was done in under an hour, and that I suspect they are trying to charge me for this man lingering in my home for 3hrs. They never responded and stopped sending me the invoice. Extremely weird and sketchy people.

  We could not be happier with our experience with Chimney Plus. Roger, the owner, Sawyer, Ned, and Jeb arrived right on time. They were slated to clean out 3 chimneys, however upon inspection of the chimneys, they said that one of them did not need cleaning. They could have easily told us that it did need cleaning, and we would have never of known the difference. This goes to show that they are definitely trustworthy. They were extremely professional and personable. They used drop clothes, and they cleaned out a tremendous amount of soot from the two chimneys. We were concerned that ash would be all over the house, however this was not an issue. We could not be more pleased with their service, the chimneys are drawing extremely well, and we would give them our highest recommendation.

  Josh & Sawyer were the BEST. I initially called spoke with Roger. He was extremely nice and work with me via email. It was my preferred communication due to my work hours. That was extremely important to me. He sent out Josh & Sawyer out. They were very informative and professional gentleman. You can tell they truly enjoy their jobs. I would recommend chimney sweep plus to anybody and everyone. Definitely strive to give five star service. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with their service.
