Started with a barely functional 90’s style fireplace. Was thrilled with the ability to go to their showroom and actually see the variety of products and how they function before making a selection. The owner was involved in ensuring the outcome was to our liking from start to finish. We are very happy with how it turned out!
A beautiful addition to my den fireplace, which we never used because of health reasons. This makes a nice cozy area to enjoy on a cold night. They did a good job installing the unit and explaining the controls. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase!
I contacted DFW Chimney Specialist about installing new gas logs and accessories in our fireplace that had never been used. I was sent a link to their website and instructed to pick out a set of gas logs I liked. So I picked out the Grand Canyon Arizona Logs because I liked the way they looked. The installer was very nice and professional and did a great job on the install. So with the cooler weather we decided we would start the fireplace. This is in what we call our happy hour room where we set in our barrel chairs right next to the fireplace, habit I have a glass of wine and listen to music. The fireplace lit right up on start and as I settled in I kept noticing a gas hissing noise which was quite audible and annoying. So I called DFW Chimney Specialist and inquired if there was anything could be done about the annoying hissing sound. I was told that the hissing noise was typical of the Grand Canyon logs as their burner system does not allow for use of silica sand that quiets the hissing sound down. So while this company may be great for a lot of things I cannot recommend them for purchase of gas logs and burners as they do not educate you on the products they sell. So now I am stuck with a gas log system and install that I spent $1,200.00 on that I will have to replace to get rid of the annoying hissing sound. When I called I was not offered any kind of solution to resolve the issue. Other than oh we're sorry.
Amazing customer service was provided by their very knowledgeable specialist, Caleb! I got my fireplace inspected before using it for the winter. He answered all of my questions without hesitation and walked me through how to use my fireplace in detail. I learned so much from Caleb in the short amount of time I interacted with him - including learning about additional services that I will be following up on. Great prices and would highly recommend!
Carlos was fantastic. He did a great job fixing up our gas fireplace, cleaning the chimney and explaining best practices in using the fireplace. He was quick, efficient, and friendly.
