I have used Chimco to perform both Basic and Level 2 inspections on my fireplace / chimney / flue every 2 years (2021, 2023, 2025) at my condo. Each time, the inspector is friendly, professional, thorough, and provides reasonable findings on recommended maintenance and/or required maintenance. The findings are realistic in my view - they are not overly critical on normal wear and tear, but if there is a safety concern or required fix Chimco will make sure it is in the report with the corrective steps listed.
Poor service all around. They arrived two hours late for a chimney inspection, and the technician acted rushed and distracted. He performed a quick creosote removal, but afterward my fireplace still smelled like burnt residue. Their chimney repair quote was vague and double what two other companies estimated for the same work. No written report, no clear chimney maintenance plan. I felt like they just wanted to get in and out as quickly as possible. Definitely won’t be calling them again.
Chimco is by far the best! My dryer vent disconnected in the ceiling. Ed was on it along with his accomplice Sean. They put a small hole in my guest room ceiling and also the closet. I thought I was in for a mess with dust all over but nope! Ed sawed the hole and Sean was right there with a vacuum. And Voila!! The connection to the dryer vent was made and only took one hour. Ed and Sean are the best! I wouldn't do business with anyone else.
We had dryer vent cleaning work in our home. We search contractor and given job to Chimco LLC. They came and attended work inside as well outside vent. They used good support tools and are well equipped and experienced doing such work. We are satisfied with the service they provided. More over both the persons were very friendly and used all safety precautions needed for senior citizens home.
