UPDATED 11/24/25 - 1 star to 4 stars. Ben went out of his way to address service issues & sent out a specialist mason (Alfred) to correct the work. Both were a pleasure to deal with & corrected all issues from my earlier review. Very happy they were willing to stand behind their work & correct it as needed to service the customer. Thank you Ben & Alfred!! Not a satisfied customer. Had service 10/26/25 – supposed to be $2500 to repair chimney bricks and replace crown & cap. Pictures show the final outcome. Poor workmanship on crown install (mortar is a mess), did not repair bricks. Dropped pieces of old concrete crown off the roof – left the mess, broke a garden accessory. I tried contacting Brown via email and phone – no one bothered to reach out. I initially chose them because of the good reviews, so extremely disappointed. Hopefully this will help someone make a future decision on who they choose for this kind of service. UPDATE 11/20/25: Brown finally contacted me & said they wanted to make it right. Was very happy to hear! They scheduled a 2nd visit, then no one showed up or contacted me.
Working with Brown Chimney and Jacques amazing. Jacques came stopped by to do an inspection of my chimney and provide a quote. He was on time, professional and detailed in his review. More importantly he broke down my options and explained them throughly so I understood, which as a new home owner was great. I had my homes crown rebuilt, cap installed and some tucked pointing done. I really appreciated Jacques clear communication and his attention to detail was top notch and throughout the entire process. I loved working with Jacques and his team and would highly recommend them.
Highly recommend!! Very thorough from evaluation, quoting and workmanship. Pricing was very reasonable and scheduling time was very convenient with little time between booking and completion. Before and after photos were shared with us. MOE and his team were very thorough, explained and recommended repairs that needed to be done and repairs that could wait. Brown Chimney installed a chimney cap, cleaned, and tuck pointed my chimney. The service was excellent! They arrived as scheduled, called ahead and they were friendly and pleasant. I appreciated the great work.
Moe arrived on time and fully explained the cost and work involved in cleaning our chimney. He took the time to answer my questions completely & made sure to keep my home clean when removing the sizable amount of soot from our chimney. I would recommend Brown Chimney & specifically Moe!
