  I had a really good experience with Better Finish Chimney Cleaners. Cesar and Austin were very professional and friendly. They inspected my chimney for any critters, cleared out a squirrel nest, and fixed the chimney cap that was put on wrong before. They even took care of our glass fireplace doors, and now they open and close smoothly for the first time in a long while. The price was much better than what I got from another pest control company.   I had a great experience with Cesar from the chimney sweep company. We needed a professional to check and clean our chimney since we had never done it in all the years we’ve lived in our Plano home. We also noticed a smokey smell coming from the fireplace and wanted to get that checked out. After calling a few places, we picked this company because their prices were reasonable and we heard they were honest, even from other businesses. Cesar arrived right on time, inspected our chimney, and said it was actually very clean and didn’t need a sweep. He explained that doing extra cleaning would be unnecessary and didn’t try to upsell us. He just charged the basic inspection fee and gave us helpful tips on products and services that could help with the fireplace odor. Cesar was straightforward, explaining the options we had without any pressure. The inspection fee seemed fair, especially considering that most people don’t know what to look for inside a chimney, and their prices were better than others we called in Plano. There are definitely some not-so-honest folks in this business, so we felt good knowing we found someone trustworthy. We later asked Cesar to come back and install a top-mounted damper and add waterproofing to our chimney. The smokey smell is much better now, and we feel good knowing we’re not losing energy through the old damper anymore. Overall, Cesar was honest, prompt, did quality work, and was always polite.
