I have a 113 year old house with a fire place that has not been used in decades. Jason came an cleaned the chimney prior to installing gas logs. So professional and not a speck of dust in the house. I could not be happier!
Very honest chimney sweep. Called Jason to inspect and clean a wood fireplace chimney on a house we just bought. He came out the next day to inspect. He did an inspection and said it was in great shape and did not need servicing. When I offered to pay him, he declined. I will definitely be contacting when I need my chimney cleaned in a year or two.
May 2024: Came to clean my dryer vent and explained how contractors improperly installed a screen over my dryer exhaust. Really happy with his service and dedication. Highly recommend.
I paid $1,000 for them to repair/rebuild my mother’s firebox bricks. Two years later, the bricks were again in need of repair/rebuild. The owner told me they were only warranteed for a year and that he no longer does that work. Understandably, if it only lasts 2 years. Never again!
After having this man clean my Vermont Casting stove, that evening we started a fire and it did not take long for smoke to start coming in the house. I called Jason and he could not understand why. The next morning I took the stove apart and found that he had not cleaned below the catalyst and it was packed with soot. I sent him pictures and all he said was he did not know that it had a catalyst and that he learned something. He made the statement when he walked in "I did not know that you had a Vermont Casting stove" even though my wife told him that when she called him. He also said that he had one too and was glad that it was what it is because he had one and knew about them. The man was very nice but he had to mention how much the bags to catch the soot cost and how much his machine to go into the pipe to be cleaned was and how much the vacuum cost. He also said the the birdcage on top of the pipe would be cleaned by this machine, but after going up on the roof today I found it to be almost totally clogged. I am almost 76 years old and do not need to be up on a 30 foot roof doing the work that I paid him for. Also the man charged me 15.00 dollars more to go a total of 28 miles from his house to mine. Since all he has on his receipt is a post office box that should tell you something about how he operates. DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH!
