I would not recommend them at all! They said they inspected my chimney and it was good to go and it was not at all. The flu had two cracks in it, the damper door was seized, this was not safe to use. If we would have used the fireplace would have been a major hazard and risk. We were told we would get a full refund and never saw a penny in return
This guy installed a liner for my chimney and put in an insert fire place. It fell apart in the first season of using it and when the liner was installed it was jammed together so bad that it leaks smoke outside the liner into the chimney. Insurance adjuster said it’s extremely unsafe to use. They left mortar on my roof and the whole job is real shady. I tried contacting the couple that runs this small company but it turns out the man went to jail in Wellington , sumner county, so I’m waiting for him to get out of jail to see if he will fix it all. I paid them about $4,000 for my chimney to not work in one season. If I had more money I’d be suing them in small claims court. DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM. Filing fee for small claims court only cost $75.00. We all need to sue this company
Definitely will be calling these guys again for any and all of our chimney needs. We thought we needed ours cleaned. Turned out we didn't, all we needed was a pipe fixed and put back in correctly. Only charged us for that and was able to do it in a timely manner. They were awesome! Very family friendly, and kind people. Very informative and answered all our questions! Definitely worth getting our business from here on out ND would highly recommend them!!!
Dylan and his brother did a fantastic job on our old (and VERY dirty chimney). Great service, extremely reasonable, prompt communication, and incredibly personable! We will definitely be using them for a yearly cleaning from now on as well as some other jobs around our home! Highly recommend!!
I am so impressed with the honesty and integrity of this company. I actually thought I was calling A Step Above as they have cleaned my fireplace in the past, but I accidentally called a different company. Long story short, this "other company" told me my fireplace was unsafe and wanted to charge us over $10,000 in repairs. We were so shocked. So I called Dylan and he came out to give an estimate. After he inspected everything he said that there was absolutely nothing wrong and didn't quote a single thing, knowing we thought we had to spend a lot of money. In fact he didn't even charge us for his visit! I certainly will not make the mistake of calling another company again. Thank you again Dylan!
