A Clean Sweep was recommended by my realtor. They were very professional and straight forward with my initial quote for a general service call. My gas fireplace is old and was in need of service. It would not turn on consistently. Randy came in and assessed the issues. He had the part with him and was able to get my fireplace working at the same time of the original service call.

Randy and Salvador came to my house with 2 fireplaces not working. It was a tough job because they weren’t familiar with our units. They didn’t give up! They were efficient, professional, and worked as a team. I feel their pricing was fair as well. I highly recommend The Clean Sweep if you have any fireplace needs.

Randy came to do a service call this week. He was on time which is always a big deal as both my spouse and I work full time. He has an incredible knowledge around fireplaces. He was so professional and I admire his honesty. We had been told that we needed an expensive valve replaced. He told us that we did not and that all was good. He also provided really good tips on making the fireplace perform more efficiently.

Randy did a fantastic job on cleaning & doing some maintenance on our gas fireplace. He arrived as scheduled and made sure everything was in working order before leaving. He is very knowledgeable and was such a pleasure to meet him. Highly recommend this company & Randy!

Unfortunately our experience with Clean Sweep hasn’t been a good one. Our initial visit the technician didn’t offer any solutions as to why our fireplace wouldn’t kick on. Once my husband suggested that it could be the either the cap on the roof or thermal coupler the tech agreed and replaced the coupler. Charging almost $500. He tried to sell my husband on getting a remote start for an additional $150 + labor. He passed. The thermal coupler was not the issue. Still wouldn’t remain lit. Came back and decided to replace the valve and wanted to charge an additional $300. My husband said he wasn’t going to pay until the fireplace stayed lit and my husband tried lighting the fireplace and it did the same thing. The valve never needed replaced. So the tech called his office and was told to take the valve back out. He decided her would just throw the new, unnecessary valve in for free because he didn’t want to charge us more labor to take it out. Charge us more labor to remove something that didn’t need fixed? Umm no. He left and my husband talked to other people and googled issues like this. Landed on the cap on the outside of the house needed replaced. Husband called clean sweep and said thought it was due to the cap. They brought a new one and replaced. Now present day our pilot light won’t stay on due to either faulty installment or the new valve or thermal coupler. Working with them has been kind of a nightmare and not very reassuring that they know what they are doing.
