This was the best experience we have had with a chimney cleaning service. Tristan took pictures, explained fire safety, tips on maintenance and even how to get the best type of soot. They wear boot covers and cover the floor and furniture if needed. This company automatically enrolls you in a program where you can get Spring discounts by scheduling early. I love this as it’s so easy to forget to get your chimney cleaned. Highly recommend!!

I contacted A Good Sweep Chimney & Masonry to request an estimate for installing a stainless steel liner and masonry work. During the initial phone call, I was never informed what their inspection process would include or how it differed from a standard estimate, leaving me confused about what to expect. After sending photos as requested, I was told that someone would need to come out to inspect the chimney, which would require payment. No explanation was provided about what this inspection involved. Only later, through research on their website and videos, did I learn that their inspection is an in-depth, camera/video assessment critical for safe and proper repair work. This vital information was never communicated. When another family member attempted to schedule the appointment, they received a lengthy text stating the company ‘will not provide any future service,’ that we were ‘not a good fit,’ and that they would no longer communicate with us. Our attempt to clarify the situation was completely ignored. I was shocked and appalled by how a company with such high recommendations could cut off all communication without explanation. I never had the opportunity to ask questions, and I have never encountered a business handling inquiries in such an abrupt and unprofessional manner.
