Called to set up a chimney inspection. I was told it was going to be $200 for a 21 point inspection. Quick availability. Guy shows up. Takes a quick peek inside the fireplace and goes out to get his shop vac. Starts vacuuming and says he’s going to stop because there were bits of mortar and it pointless to continue. Pushed hard to sell us an insert for $6500. Never got on the roof. Never sent a camera down or up. How is that a 21 point inspection? Why did I pay someone $210 to vacuum our fireplace? Complete racket!

We had been searching for months for a new fireplace. We had a few quotes that were extremely high, others that didn't return calls or didn't service our area We were in great need for a secondary heat source fire place since all we have is electric heat . I was given Affordables name and John was very responsive, and friendly, he was at our home the same day, gave us a quote that was very reasonable and did an excellent job at explaining the process. & benefits of our new fireplace. The time span from the signing the agreement to installation was 3 1/2 weeks and they did a very professional install and needed do to some custome work and did not charge us. I highly recommend Affordable.
